Convenient

One block from TD Garden. Comfortable and clean. This is what I consider a boutique hotel and thus a little different kind of charm. The rooms feel kind of dated, but yet modern feel to the restroom. The restaurant did not have much selection, but ok. There was a 24/7 7-11 one block over. Not too much for night life near by, but a few bars open till 1 or 2 am

Great Hotel

Saw all of the negative reviews and was a little concerned about staying here. Turns out all of those people don't know what they're talking about! Went to a show at the TD Garden which was across the street and very easy to get to. Great food and bars within walking distance. Room was nice and very clean, comfy bed, nice shower. Would stay here again

Guest experience made the visit! Duke is the best.

Recently, my wife and I took a trip to Boston for a short weekend getaway, and our accommodation for our first night there ended up being unavailable (due to a mistake) upon our arrival. We wouldn't be able to check in until the following morning, and having driven for a few hours to get to Boston we were exhausted at nearly 2 am. A Courtyard Marriott refused to give us any sort of discount for our stay, and we searched for other accommodations in the area by walking into various hotels. Upon entering the Hotel Indigo, we were greeted by Duke. His kind demeanor and calm manner immediately made us feel at ease in a stressful situation. We explained our situation and that we needed a room for the night (keep in mind this is for a stay of 2am to 10am. He checked the inventory and offered us a room, which we gladly accepted. We know it wasn't his fault our other accommodations fell through, and he made us feel taken care of. That alone would have been enough for us, but he went one step further, pointing out that the bars were about to empty in the area and it would be loud. He gave us a room on the quiet side of the hotel so we would get better quality sleep. Duke turned an awful night into a positive for us, and his friendly personality impressed us both. Aside from Duke, who you can tell from this review was great, the hotel is conveniently located and the accommodations were clean. The building is clearly old so the halls can feel a bit tight, but everything was well kept

Great location

A nice hotel in a great location where you can walk to all the downtown sites. There's also a great cafe across the road for breakfast and special coffees. The rooms were nice but we just had the back of some buildings for our view. Most hotels in Boston are crazily priced but this one was more affordable and in a great area

IHG you need to sort this place!

First the good location - it's central to many of the Boston points of interest staff - friendly and helpful; they did what they could BUT afraid that doesn't make up for the fact that there is something going seriously wrong with the investment in this place. When we were there it seemd they were drying the place out and the corridors had huge swelled up floorboard that you could trip over! Rooms are quite depressing and we moved twice! Rooms are noisy on the road or have no view if not. It just seems to be a forgotten run down hotel rather than a hotel that is having (or has had) an update. If fixed it could be a fine mid range hotel
